Q: Linclon Navigator?
How much does a 2007 Lincoln Navigator cost in the States??
A: 50-60K depending on trim & options
Q: Why car dealer talking about very high sticker prices than MSRP?
Is Lincoln Navigator so hot? one of the Best selling cars?
I try to buy a new one. some dealers won't give me discounts or as little as $500 over MSRP. MSRP is $58455!!!
not $3000 or $4000?
Do you think this dealer guy tries to rip me off? Am I a dumb cash machine? I love you man!! I will give you what you want!!
2007 Lincoln Navigator 4X4 L!!!!
I like to buy 2007 Lincoln Navigator 4X4 L with options.
I caculated MSRP at Lincoln home page; $58,455.00
I will pay $53,000.00 cash!! for the car. or maybe $54,450.00
I do not know how much I should spend for it.
I do not give a **** about Market Ajustment or any dealer costs. Is it legal? If it is legal, then what the "F" MSRP stands for? I am sorry using F word. I was kind of upset.
I mean truly Lincoln Navigator is so hot in the market, Ford is doing great in business? I thought Ford is having a hard time to sell cars. a lot of cash backs from Ford to dealers, no?
thank you for your kindness
A: MSRP means "Manufacturers SUGGESTED Retail Price"
Dealers can sell for ANY $ amount. Above or BELOW.
Do you complain when you get a discount & are able to negotiate BELOW the MSRP ?
Consumers can buy any one of about 1000 or more vehicles on the market. If they choose to buy a vehicle that is in limited quantity & high demand, then that is their choice.
Profit is not a bad word in the auto industry or ANY OTHER INDUSTRY for that matter. Did you try to by a "Tickle Me Elmo" this year? Or any new electronics?
When you buy a tube of toothpaste (for example) at one store & then find it's being sold at another store cheaper (store #1 more profit than store #2), are you angry at the manufacturer of the toothpaste?
Every business in the world is based on profit.
What do you do for a living?
Do you do what you do for profit? Would you still do it if it wasn't profitable?
Ford is NOT having a hard time selling cars.
(The Navigator is a very popular vehicle, as are MANY other FoMoCo products)
They are restructuring the company to align with supply & demand. The losses that the company is posting are NOT due to lack of sales. They are offering to 'buy out' peoples jobs, which ia admirable. They could've just fired employees & paid out a lot less in unemployment compensation.
The American Auto companies have "legacy" costs (pensions, health care benefits, etc, to retired employees) to endure that many of the other manufacturers ( non-union) do not pay out.
Q: If you could own any car, no matter how expensive, what would it be?
I would pick the 2007 Lincoln Navigator. Sweet. :)
A: Cadillac Escalade
Q: Alternator for 2 15 L7's and ZX2500.1?
I wanted to know if I needed a HO alternator for the subs and amp I am adding to my 2007 Lincoln Navigator. I have been doing alot of research but cant figure out if I need one and if I do, how many amps should it be? I also need any websites that has good alternators for sale as well...providing I need one. I believe the stock alternator is 130amps also.
A: Here is a good link to help you find a High-Output Alternator:
http://www.db-starter-alternator.com/Alternators/High%20Output/
Find your alternator and then maybe you could head over to http://www.eBay.com/ and maybe find it cheaper.
My advice to you... GO AS BIG AS YOU CAN GO/AFFORD! Then you will never have to look back or worry about whether you got one big enough... And besides, if you ever wanna upgrade your system... You don't have to spend more money looking around buying another alternator. :)
Your amp puts out 1,250 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms and 2,500 Watts RMS @ 2 Ohms.
What's the model number on your subwoofers?
Q: Is it me...?
or does the 2007 lincoln navigator look much better in person than on the pictures?
A: Now that is a cool ride.
Q: Why do some cars have odd names?
My co-worker was telling everyone how he got a new station wagon, replaced his '02 Expedition. When asked what kind of car he got, he replied: "2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon E350 4MATIC Wagon." What the hey? I'm used to "Toyota Avalon XL", or "Ford Focus ZX5". Why do car companies do that? Even Lincoln jumped on the wagon with "Lincoln Navigator Ultimate 4x4" Can't forget names that sound like passcodes to the pentagon; "MKZ, GX 470" What the heck is goin' on?
A: Europe has long had a tradition of these names. following in their footsteps you are starting to see the same format here in the states and Japan.
What you will most often see are letters and numbers. Lexus started with the ES (base) series followed by the displacement of the engine (300 or perhaps 350). Easy to remember and quite simple. Lexus was copying Germany when they started this. Most Mercedes and BMW follow the same idea. Mercedes will have their series (E) followed by engine displacement (300) followed by engine type if applicable (D for diesel) and then they may add the option 4MATIC which signifies four wheel drive.
You are seeing more of this in the US as actual names sometimes bomb. Look at Taurus - it was the best selling car for many years then Ford discontinued it and replaced it with the Five Hundred which has had horrible sales. Watch, I bet they bring back the Taurus name. Does anyone remember the Edsel? It was Ford homage to his son and while a decent car it sold abysmally.
Using a letter or number designation is a safe bet. You never have to worry about the public connecting something negative with an easily remembered name. If sales are poor you just jumble together a new designation of numbers and letters.

Q: 2007 Lincoln Navigator Digital Dash and Info system went blank and INOP.?
we are a limo and coach builder in michigan and recieved this navigator a year ago before it was approved for the U.S. We were converting the interior for ford to put in a few shows for them . Well ford hired a few guys to install the sound system and entertainment system. As soon as they started working on that the digital odometor and info system went blank and didnt work. well afterwards we purchased it, we stretched it and decided to put the origanal Factory Navigation Radio/System back in. Well still didnt work. With ford after you stretch a vehicle it voids warranty unlike the other two makers. Please help us with this. What can it be.
A: could be anything. take it to a Lincoln dealer for a diag.
Q: Is this a good deal on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator lease?
The truck is mint with about 11,800 miles and is leased. The leasee is moving out of the country and needs to have someone assume it. It is the Ultimate upgraded model with just about every option: moonroof, power liftgate and 3rd row seats, navigation, 10 way power seats, wood and satin accents, heated/cooled seats, chrome exhaust, premium appearance package, entertainment package (rear DVD uprgraded CDx6), power deployed running boards, reverse sensing and you name it.
He wants me to assume payment (including tax) of $592.00 for 28 months and asked for 2500 down as he says he put down 10,000. Has free maintenance and roadside for the entire lease...It looks so good...but got worried when I saw the 2500 down. Can a dealer or someone familiar please assist?
Thanks
A: Actually that's a great deal. If you were to lease a new one with 2500 down, you would be in the 700/month range. The free maintenance is worth another $700.
If you're still not convinced, get a quote from a local dealer for the same vehicle with 2,500 down and compare!
