A: No. It doesn't offend me, if it's the commercial I'm thinking of. All car manufacturers want people to think that their brand is the safest, it's up to you to do the research and find out which car is right for you. If you don't like Volvo, don't buy one.

A: I've had several volvo's and been impressed with the engineering and workmanship. They were better pre-ford. This will be my last, however, due to "bad dealer service" They seem to foment an attitude to drain your wallet whenever you go in and LOVE to use scare tactics on women. Women buy Volvo's for safety and by the time the service writer is done, she is afraid to drive it in the first bay.

A: not anymore, they are both owned by american companies saab by GM and volvo by ford and i believe that american companies that buy foreign companies take the foreign appeal out of the vehicle. i use to be a big fan of jaguar until ford bought them.

as i saw one sitting at the side of road works on the A 690 at hougton cut in durham with its back to the traffic in a 30 limit imposed due to road works.

Do some Volvo cars come with 4 wheel drive? I know Subaru sedans do. I was wondering, cause I was thinking about buying one cause I need 4 wheel drive, but I do not want to drive an SUV.

A: With one exception, ALL Volvo models can come with AWD. Only the convertible (C70) does not have at least an option of being AWD. So the S40, S60, S80 sedans, and the V50 and V70 / XC70 wagons are your options for non-SUV, AWD Volvos.
Q: Which Volvo car should I get?
I am 17 years old and I am planning to lease a Volvo car. Although, I don't really know which one I should lease. Could you please tell me which is best for me?
I don't like station wagons, and I would like something that's easy for a teenager to drive. Preferably five seats or more, too. Four is okay, though. But I would really prefer more than that.
On another note, don't tell me just because I'm 17 that I don't deserve such a good car. I'm only getting Volvo because it's made out of good materials and is safer than most cars. Money is no object; my dad will help me pay for half of the monthly payments. Please don't tell me I'm a spoiled brat and I don't deserve all of this. That's not what I'm asking to hear. All I'd like to know is what car to drive. Just making that clear.

A: Volvo is just a Ford quality car with a Swedish name. If you want a good safe, quality car that is reliable and dependable get a SUBARU Legacy. They look and drive nice too.
Q: How much mileage is too much mileage for a volvo? Do they have more problems (mechanically) like other cars?
I know alot of cars have very bad mechanical problems with higher mileage.
A: i own a repair shop,and Volvo,s are the same way,they do give problems when they get higher mileage on them also,anything over 150 thousand would be too much to fool with on a Volvo,all though they are good cars ,and well built,,they do give problems like anything else does ,they only way you could find a real good one would to find one that the original owner was selling,,this might help you to get a better car,but even then,its like any other car it will give problems sooner or later,good luck with it i hope this help,s.
