Q: I just started selling kia cars last week?
i was wonder if there is anything i should know that will make the sale easy for my clinet.
A: I want to know : Cost of ownershp, resale value, dependability, comparision to similar makes/models, how much I get for my 91 Celica, where's the bathroom, do I get a free cola, what's my payment, if I have credit probelms, can I still buy, who owns this dealership, can I pull a trailer, wheres the spare tire, can I get 84 month financing
Q: whats the rating of Kia cars compared to Toyotas. Ie Kia Spectra vs Toyoyta Camry and or corolla?
A: Well one is Korean, and the other is Japanese. From experience I can tell you that Japanese cars are FAR superior to their Korean counterparts, whatever be the make or model. The ONLY reason to buy a Korean car would be if you wanted to save some money INITIALLY!! I say "initially" because though the Koreans offer cheaper prices and longer "warranties" (you'll need the warranties - trust me!), depreciation, glitches, reliability issues, etc. will eventually make you sorry you even THOUGHT about a Korean nameplate! As far as ratings by so-called experts, the Kia's are middling, as compared to the Toyotas, which are geared towards safety, reliability, functionality, etc.
Hope this answered your question???
Q: wath you guys think about "KIA" CARS? IT'S A KOREAN BRAND?
my wife wants buy a KIA car....
A: I have a Korean made car, it's and '04 Kia Optima with over 62,000 trouble free miles. I won't believe in a million years that a so-called American car is more reliable than my Kia. I have owned an '03 Chevy Cavalier, a '98 Olds Achieva, an '82 Chevy Citation, '84 Ford Tempo, '78 Chevy 20 Van, and come from a Chevy family. Fords are known to be horrible and to me Chevy and Dodge are just a notch above. I think that overall Japanese and Korean cars are just made better! Sorry to be a non-patriotic American that happens to be a veteran and knows better. Our country is a free market and to the better company goes the win and it's not GM, Ford or Dodge! It's Toyota and the other Asian cars are not too far behind. The only thing that I have had an issue with is the receiver for the key fob that operates the keyless entry, I took the car into the dealer for struts, and asked about the key fob not working and they found the problem under warranty. I am 100% pleased with Kia and to most of the people with Kia horror stories- they probably didn't take care of their car and ended up running them into the ground! Not Kia's fault- more like operator error...
Q: Where are Kia cars manufactured?
A: They are manufactured by Kia in South Korea. The company headquarters is in Seoul. Their US distributorship, based in Irvine, CA, is Kia of America.
Q: Are KIA and Hyundai the same company with two different lines of cars?
A: They WERE two different companies but Hyundai bought out Kia a few years ago so they are now sister companies. Many of their current vehicles share basic platforms, powertrains, etc.
Q: Does anyone own a KIA if so what style year and how is the car running?
I am thinking about getting a Kia car soon and would like to know if anyone owns a Kia and if so what style and year it is. If anyone has test driven a Kia I would also like their comments on the car. Hope to hear from someone
A: The new KIA Rio is a great little car ! It's got the best gas mileage per gallon ratio. My friend has one over 5 years old & it's still running at peak ( just as it did when she bought it ) ! You can't beat a 10 year warranty either ! I'm not big on it's style but, I will admit it is the best value for the dollar !!! Just keep it on a regular maintenence schedule , you'll be a happy customer !
Q: What's the name of the tune in the Kia commercial where all those cars are fighting for a parking space?
I know I've heard that tune before, but I can't think of the name of it or where it came from. Does anybody know?
A: I believe it is called "The Whistler and his Dog".
Q: Are Kia's good cars for the long run?
I'm looking at 10 to 12 years, over 150,000 miles. Thanks!
A: No I nearly bought a Kia a few years ago and am so glad I didn't. I spoke to a mechanic and he said that unless they are brand new Kias have major and expensive mechanic problems. So if you are choosing a Kia over say a Honda for the price - don't! It will only end up costing you more in the long run.

wat coulour is the power wire?
A: Why don't you get a pre-maid harness for your car and stereo?

Q: need to know about Kia cars and trucks?
A: Once again...Never trust 'The Government'. What do you need to know about Kia cars and trucks? I can tell you that they are reliable, inexpensive, and made in South Korea. If you change vehicles often do not buy one. You will be dissappointed with the depreciation rates on Kias. If you plan on keeping it for 6-8 years...Go ahead and buy one if you dare... Usually though, a 2 year old GM or Ford is a better car value than a New Kia.
Q: Some time my 1998 Kia sephia cars shift doesn't work.If I put the shift on P(park) I can not start the car.
Some time if I put the shift on P, the car doesn't start.
A: Replace the safety switch in the shifter and you will be set.
Q: for people who know inport cars like kia?
I need to know if the doors of a 2002 kia spectra sadan 4 door are interchangeable with a 2002 kia spectra 5 door hatchback
A: Front doors, yes.
Not sure about back doors.
Q: Kia cars reliable?
How are reliable are these cars? I bought a new one (Optima) about a year and a half ago. Will it last me long or should I trade it in? So far so good.
A: Kia's reliability ratings have been climbing lately (just like parent company Hyundai), and according to Consumer Reports it's now right between Mazda and Nissan on the charts.
Q: Does anyone know about how good (reliable) KIA cars are? I'm about to buy a new KIA SPECTRA SX '06. Feedback?
A: I had a brand new Sportage and after a few weeks I was driving to work (on a pretty major thruway) when it started to shake really bad and dropped to like 10 MPH - had it towed to the dealer and after they kept it for literally 4 months (while I had to make payments) they realized it needed a whole new computer --- sold it ASAP and bought a Jeep Liberty..... They are a POS I wouldn't buy it.
