A: What do you mean how to remove it? Where it is, or how to remove it? If where it is, the ES350 is front wheel drive and the engine is mounted transversely, meaning all in the front and from side to side. Facing the engine bay with hood open, the filter is in the front and below the manifold. If you're talking HOW to actually remove it, you'll need a filter wrench, along with a socket wrench and turn the filter counter clockwise to take off. Installation is reverse.

A: Infiniti are good vehicles. Lexus is rated higher for reliability and keeps more of its value according to Consumer Reports and JD Power. I would consider leasing the FX35 instead of buying it. Q: Which car should i buy? I am torn between a 2009 Acura TSX or 2008 Lexus IS 250? Help!?
I am looking to upgrade from my 2005 TSX and to either the 2009 TSX or Lexus IS 250. The thing i love about the TSX is it comes fully loaded ie. navigation, bluetooth, and rearview camera and with the lexus it is a $4000.00 upgrade which will put me over my budget, so i will have to do without! I just LOVE the exterior of the Lexus but love the interior of the TSX!! What should i do?? Oh and one more thing i am concerned about is the backseat of the Lexus..is it really small? I always drive and want to be able to fit my friends back there?
A: the Acura is a better deal, less expensive.
the Lexus is rear wheel drive but the steering is vague and the ride is not really sporty.
both have fairly tight interiors so make small friends :P

Q: Warranty of Lexus voided by going over a certain speed or rpm?
I took out Pop's brand new 2009 Lexus IS250 for a drive because he was out of the country... though I was careful at first, later that night I drove 120 mph coming back home. I'm now worried that I could have voided the warranty. May someone please give me information about this!?
A: No, it would be ridiculous if Lexus voided the car's warranty for going a certain speed. However, if you redline the engine (make the RPM go above the redline on the tach dial), that could void the warranty. These newfangled cars have onboard computers that log things like max RPM, and if something happens to the car's engine and he takes it to the shop, they might plug it in and read that the RPM went over the redline and tell him it's out of warranty - and you're in big trouble if that happens.
However, I trust you didn't redline it. Right? If not then you're probably okay. Just be more careful next time! What if a cop pulls you over for going double the speed limit in your dad's new car? That's game over right there.
If you're really freakin out about it, you can always call a Lexus dealership and ask their mechanic over the phone. That would be anonymous of course, and you could just ask him flat out and he would be able to tell you for sure.

Q: 2009 Corolla XRS or Lexus IS250?
So I'm on the verge of getting a new car but can't decide which. I currently have a 2003 Corolla, and it handles the road very horribly ie: too noisy, feels like its going to fly off the road @ high speeds, literally tossed around while going over bumps, choppy ride.
Now, I was wondering if the new 2009 Corolla remedies all of it's past faults (I can't drive to a dealer because of distance.)
XRS model offer: $24k
Lexus IS250: $33k
The difference doesn't matter too much for me. I'm going to be keeping the car until it dies on me.

A: Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but Lexus is the luxury branch of Toyota. So get a car that never dies, or get a car that never dies and has luxury features lol. The IS250 would attract more fans. Lexus IS-F.. Wow.

A: lexus did announce plans to redesign the RX as the current design has been around for five years. it should have larger dimensions (to accomodate third-row seat), toned-down styling, and will offer both an optional v8 and a stretched trim line model as does the ls460 sedan. a more advanced hybrid version should carry over.
