Q: what the best luxury lexus suv to buy?
A: Obviously the LX470. Hold on.... I mean the new LX570 when it comes out. Also check out the new Land Cruiser. That suv speaks for itself with its history and I won't be needing to provide any descriptions.
Q: I have a 2007 Lexus RX 350 SUV. What does the ! symbol on the dashboard mean?
i dont have a manual
the exclamation point is inside a circle not quite a complete circle- the top is open and there are what looks like waves at the bottom of the symbol
thats it! thanks george!
A: Go to the link below & see if it looks like the one depicted in the link. If so, then it's the warning light indicating that one or more of your tires have low air pressure.

Q: Lexus RX SUV AWD or 2WD?? ?
I am looking into getting a Lexus 330/350 SUV. I was not considering getting a 2WD, but the gas mileage is better ... With the traction control and low gears, the 2WD may be enough for the little snow that we get in Washington DC. Can anyone tell me if there are any other differences between the AWD and 2WD (like transmission, suspension, towing, or anything like that)?
Thanks
A: with the little snow you get, the ABS and traction control will work fine. you'll pay less to begin with, lower insurance and better fuel economy.
Q: I NEED YOUR DATING ADVICE !!! -- Should I buy a LEXUS luxury SUV, just to impress my dates?
I'm 43 years old. I'm fit, healthy, don't smoke or drink alchohol, I love to go bike riding, I've got a happy and cheerful personality. I'm kind and thoughtful. I've got a great job. I'm well educated and intelligent and fairly well off $$$$. BUT; I'm not that handsome (not ugly though) and I currently drive a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I place my ads on Lavalife and a few other sites, reply to other women ages 39-45 and no replies?
I'm just affraid that given by bad luck so far, when my date finally sees my old econo-car, that's it for the relationship.
My past EX-wife (a real gold-digger) suggested that I am the kindest and sweetest gentleman that she knows and that I shouldn't be driving a students car as my dates will think that I'm nuts for not moving on with my life.
I can very easily afford a luxury SUV but I wanted to buy a Matrix.
I'm going to keep my Corolla for commuting to work and hauling crap, and the Lexus as my "DATE" vehicle.
Do you think I'm doing the right thing?
Hi everyone. THANKS for the advice, it has helped me to resolve my curiousity.
The fact is that I really like Corollas but I sometimes want to carry some stuff that just won't fit into the trunk of a Corolla, so I have my heart set on a new Matrix. One with steel rims as opposed to the aluminum ones that get eaten up by the Salt here in Ontario Canada. Its not that I cannot afford a $100,000 car, its just that I see cars as disposable toys and I don't want to invest a lot into it when I can leave my cash in the market instead.
- I'm not sure if I'd keep the old Corolla as the Matrix is basically a Corolla Wagon. I'll probably sell it on AutoTrader to give it to a family friend.
- I definitely DON'T want a gold digger as I've got far too much assets at risk to lose! Thank god I signed a pre-nup with my EX or she'd be set for life now. (she cheated on me, multiple times, and I was lucky enough to do some detective work and find out everything).
- Thanks again for all the help.
A: buy a porsche those lexus SUV's are a piece of crap
or buy a nice 3 series, like the new 335i
Q: What kind of tires come on the Lexus SUV...I have always had trouble with my Dunlops on my 3 toyota's...thanks
A: Michelin,.have them on my Solara, great Tyre.
Q: What's more classy and prestigious: Land Rover or Lexus?
I'm talkin Lexus SUV's. The Lexus LX is a beast of a car, and the GX and RX are cool. Land Rovers are da bomb with the LR3 and Range Rover Sport. Whatcha think?
A: Just my two cents, but Lexus is like a grown up Honda to me...which is probably why there are so many of them on the road...they appeal to everone in a generic sort of way.
Land Rovers dare to be different and when you drive the Range Rover Sport or LR3 you are going to get noticed. The Sport looks like its moving fast even when its parked and the LR3 can beat up just about every car off road.
Lexus may have street cred with the people who want to purchase style, but those who have it already choose Land Rovers.
Q: Where can I find a Lexus or SUV Christmas ornament?
A: Ebay has some SUV ones listed. I posted the link for you.
Good luck and happy shopping!!!
Q: lexus rx 300 suv.... and dodge ram 1500 crew cab.... are they worth the $$$$??
based upon the following info, do you think this is a real good - good - fair buy.
it is a 1999 lexus rx 300 4wd suv with 159,000 miles for $10,000.00.
it has a moonroof, leather inter, in great shape from what i am told, clean in and out, good set of tires, front and side air bags, fully loaded and all that good stuff & with a good paint job.
is lexus GOOD for 159,000 +++++ miles??
also, does 22 mpg hwy & 19 mpg city sound good?? or should it be better??
and on the dodge - it's a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4wd crew cab 4 door.
it is 15,000.00 with 79,000 miles. looks like brand new with all the extra plus tow pkg and aluminum tool box on the back.
do you think 15,000.00 is a good deal based on the info?
any additional info would help on both!!
A: LEXUS IS A SOFT SUV"
DODGE PU IS a STRONGER VEHICLE here.
and has the most flexibility too. PICKUPs can actualy get better gas mileage than full size or mid-size SUVs. Because it is half the body weight 90% of the driving time or unlit you carry a load in it.
The truck would be the SMARTER BUY over the LEXUS concerning the mileage and year. Al thou the LEXUS is a Japanese vehicle. When it Comes to the American Pick UPS they last just as long or longer than imports.
The LEXUS has 159.000 miles on it. So think they last about 200.000 mile so your ready to give up $10K for a vehicle that could need major service in about 42.000 more miles.
YEA this is a RIP OFF $10K can get you in a newer year LEXUS with lower miles if thats what you want.
2ND
The Dodge has lower miles and is a newer vehicle but to be sure check the SERVICE records or that it has been well maintenance. That's applies to both Vehicles.
Things like the Water pump, brakes, alternator, battery, fan belts, hoses, vaccum lines, tuneups, ect......
I would look at the Lexus and think about what I'M going to use it for, like more work and play or around town styling and getting the Oohs from friends while having a little flex ability.
The truck will be easier to resell over the Lexus if needed. I find it harder to sell an import with very high mileage they are in demand because of gas prices and maintains tuneups
but think when you pull up to the gas station the people are not going to cut the price in half just because your driving a V6 import or even a 4cylinder. We all pay the same.
Q: how do you install a gps system for a lexus 300 suv?
A: It depends on the GPS System. Some systems are just as easy as pulling it in the cigarette lighter socket but other GPS systems which are in-dash would require someone who knows the technical wiring diagram of your Lexus. I suggest to ask the seller of the GPS if they can install it and if they have the experience to do so. Good luck. Hope I help a little.
Q: Where can I rent a Lexus or Infiniti SUV in Boston?
A: If there is a Budget car rental near you, or a Midway, they sometimes rent the RX at some of their locations. I rented an RX 400h from Midway last year ($150 per day), and I've seen some at some Budget locations (in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica--sorry, I live in LA!)
Wish I could be more help, but those are the only two I know of. Oh, and by the way, Enterprise DOES NOT rent Lexus AT ALL.
Q: what lexus suv u like?
A: LX470 and 570.... but honestly if I were to buy a truck or suv, i'd get something that I don't care about, why pay $50k for a suv that you are scared to take in the mud and crash into stuff with if need to.
Q: any bad lexus suv reviews?
A: Typically no. Lexus cars and SUV's are among class leaders in terms of luxury, safety, and performance.
Q: best mid-upper level SUV (ie. lexus, bmw, acura, etc.)?
we're looking for an SUV in the mid-upper level range and wanted to know if any of you own one and what you like/dislike about it. we're thinking mostly of lexus, bmw and acuras.
thanks!
Thanks for that info...what about a sedan in that family of cars you mentioned? I'm basically trying to fiure out what car would be best when we have 1-2 kids (we have none now). i LOVE toyotas...am driving a corolla currently.
you guys are both so awesome!! i'm doing some research right now. thanks so much again!!!!!!!!
A: Oh I love questions like these because I love luxury cars. Anywho, I would take a look at the Audi Q7 also. It is VERY underrated. Most people sleep on Audi, but it has one of the best interiors in an SUV and it has amazing road presence, especially at night. I'm a car guy and people call me on the phone to ask me what the hell they just saw when a big ass Audi just drove past them. Then they ask me how much it is then say, "Oh, nevermind." If you're looking in that range you can probably afford one.
Oh and another SUV to consider is the Buick Enclave. I am a sportscar type of guy, but I love the Enclave. It just looks so plush.

I would also take a look at the new Escalade or a Yukon. The interior isn't AS nice, but they also have great road presence. Used Range Rovers are possibly in your range also, but the reliability on those aren't pretty good in general.
Another one to look at is the Infiniti FX35. I never understand why this doesn't sell more. I personally think it's the best looking SUV out right now. It is also based on the G35s chassis so it can handle well.
Finally I would take a look at used Porsche Cayennes. These have FANTASTIC interiors and they perform very well. Porsche is also the quintessential luxury brand(not counting stuff like RR, Bentley, etc.) so you have the best brand name if you're into that kind of thing.
[Edit: As far as sedans go I would pick a Sedan over an SUV any day of the week personally. Something like a year old used Lexus GS300 would probably suit you well since you like Toyota. I gotta give another quick shout out to Audi and recommend a used Audi A8. You can find them 2-3 years old for $50K and it would trounce anything Toyota makes(and pretty much everyone else) in luxury outside of a brand new LS460. An quick FYI is the Bentley Continental GT/Flying Spur share about 20% of it's parts with the Audi A8. Audi's interiors are also top of the line especially in the A8s.

Q: Is it better to buy a brand new, a pre-owned or lease a SUV hybrid?
I am thinking of buying a hybrid SUV and the top of my list is the LExus SUV which is a bit expensive. So as a first time buyer and on a budget I want to know which one would be a good deal for me, the pros and cons of buying or leasing? Thanks!
A: Maybe leasing if you can afford it. Hybrid is a kind of new technology, it is better to try it new, not used. If it is leased, you can change it anytime.
Q: Which midsized SUV: Lexus RX350 .or. Toyota 4Runner?
...which do you want?
A: Of those, I would go for the Lexus RX 350. Unless I actually wanted to go off road - the 4Runner is better for that.
