I tryed ebay, found some but you have to add screw and parts to it, I just want a Screw on, I can screw mine off and screw a new one. But I want a NICE one.
A: Check with your local mazda dealer to see if you can still buy accessories for your Protege 5. You can find the number and location by going to www.mazdausa.com
Q: What do you think of your Mazda 5??
I am thinking about getting a Mazda 5. Do you have any problems with yours? What is the gas mileage like? Do you wish you had a smaller car?
A: I had it 3 years ago,and it's gas consumption was good at all. I hadn't any major problem with that and all parts were cheap. The most important weak point of all Mazda cars is the suspension, but if you drive carefully you would not have any problem with that and as I said all parts are cheap enough that you can easily afford the changes and repairs.
and about the size , my main reason for changing car was that but it depend on you, because I live in iran and I had problems with parking.
At the end I prefer you to buy this car and enjoy the economic side of that;)
Q: What kind of gas mileage will I get with my new Mazda 5?
A: You have a trip odometer that can be zeroed every time you fill your tank. Look at your mileage which should be between 250-275 miles, look on your new car sticker or your owners manual and take note with the size of your gas tank. Divide your miles into your gas tank; 275 miles divided into 13 gallon tank equals X. This way based on your driving habits you are better able to know your gas mileage. Again, on the new car sticker it will post a range of what you should get for your mileage as established by the Federal Government.

Q: Is the 2009 Mazda 5 reliable?
heyy i am planning to get a Mazda 5 but i want to know if its reliable. i'll probably keep the car for 10+ years. is it gonna break down every year? is it as reliable as the toyota matrix??? thx in advance! and any other suggestions would be nice! =)
A: It's way above average in reliability. The 5 is based on the smaller 3 frame & use the same engines. Consumer Reports thinks highly of them. They will easily last 10+ yrs if taken care of.
Q: Why do some cars like the Mazda 5 not have NHTSA crash test ratings?
A: Although car manufacturers are required to certify that their cars meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) they are not required to do any particular test. Mazda chooses not to do that test on that model.
Q: How much horsepower would I get if I added twin turbos to a 1997 mazda miata mx-5(stock:133hp)?
A: The most I've seen yet to date is actually around 200HP. 2 turbos isn't actually the most efficient set up for a Miata. A single turbo would be the wiser choice.

Q: Mazda 5 will it last?
I am considerting purchasing a Mazda 5. I haven't decided on used or new yet but wanted to get oppinions here first. What is Mazda's reputation in general and for the Mazda 5 in particular when it comes to reliability and longevity?
What kind of mileage can I expect this car to have before it's life is over? Is it a reliable car or does it have a bunch of known issues? And, how does it perform in the snow.
Basically I want to know that it will last me 5 or 6 years reliably and not cost me a fortune in repairs and downtime.
Thanks everyone!
A: The Mazda 5 is built on the Mazda 3 chassis stretched. It has a similar engine with a different horsepower curve. They are pretty solid vehicles and you can get alot of options for a small price. If you are buying used, have your local Mazda dealership do a recall check before you purchase. Good luck and enjoy your car! You can email if you have more questions.
Q: Mazda 5 - anyone got one? Looking at buying one but the sliding rear doors are a concern.?
If you have one - any positive or negative comments greatly appreciated.
A: I don't have one, but when I was getting an oil changed in my Girfriend's Mazda 3, I went and checked it out on the showroom floor.
It is probably the coolest 'minivan' on the market. I slid the side doors back and forth and it seemed easy enough (I am not a minivan owner).
The specs say it gets decent mileage and it is recommended by consumer reports.
The only cons would be that there is limited cargo room and the 3rd row seat is pretty much for children.
Go test drive one and see how you like it.
Good Luck.
