Q: Mazda car Models with Miller Cycle Engines?
I heard that only Mazda makes cars with Miller Cycle Engines.
Do you know any models apart from the Mazda Millenia which uses this kind of an engine?
A: Nope I believe that was the only model that used it, it was called the Xedos in Europe.

A: Don't know what happened, but in reply to the person above me, Mazda is owned by an American car company, Ford, so it is American.

A: yeah thats it just take it out take it to your closest auto store and find were the fuses are at cheap and simple

Looking for a reliable diesel car for use with biodiesel.
A: Currently, some late 70's early 80's models of those manufacturer's can be found with diesel engines. They are rare and difficult to find. I see more older Nissans that are diesel than other brands.
Honda is planning to release a clean diesel in the US I believe in 2009.
Q: Why Malaysians LOVE Toyota & Honda cars BUT not MAZDA cars ?
Mazda, Toyota & Honda all are Japanese cars. But why only those 2 brands are better acknowledged but not Mazda. Don't forget the fact that Mazda has established a name for itself, recognized & won MANY Awards in most parts of the world, including the Asian region. However, popularity of the brand Mazda is dim in the regions of Malaysia, whose neighbour Singapore is comercially aware of the mentioned brand. I know that AWD are always better to have but could a mazda 6 be good in it?
A: listen to bostjan - winter tires are key. I have an Accord with winter tires (only in winter of course) - great winter car, mazda6 would be similar.
People think AWD is safer, but it really isn't, winter tires do more for safety than AWD. Think about AWD - it'll help you go/not get stuck, it doesn't help you stop at all, and has only a small effect when cornering. In contrast, winter tires have a large effect when cornering AND stopping - and what causes people to crash, the inability to go or the inability to stop/turn?
Ideally you'd want AWD and winter tires, but your car with good tires will be just fine.
Q: Touring edition ( related with cars) - Mazda protege?
What is the difference between a 1998 mazda protege and 1998 Mazda protege touring edition. I mean to say what is a touring edition or what does it signify. If anybody has this car, can he provide me a small review on it.
A: i dont know from where you find mazda protege touring edition
first proteges dont came in touring edition they are
DX the basic model, LX inter model and ES the top of the line
if you see someone who has touring on a protege was the owner of the car who put that on it
what it signify? i dont know but if i put to my protege 5 SS will go for Super Sport but that dont exist...

A: love them mate, reliable, good build quality, cna be fast if you go for the sportier ones. i think they are good looking cars as well

A: Almost anything is good if it was taken care of. All modern American, Japanese, and European vehicles are designed to last 10 years and 150k miles. If you take good care of it they will last longer. If not it wont.
A 99 would be 10 years old so its probably nearing the end of its life or at least will start to need more repairs.
My 91 lasted 115k miles before a drunk hit it. Still ran great though. The only thing I ever replaced was belts, hoses, front brakes, and tires. It still had the original rear brakes and even clutch.

Q: Why is it that the mazda has only rotary engines but why american cars like Ford,GM,Chrysler didn't build one?

A: That is one thing the other countries have on us... Also their cars are much smaller where as ours are so much bigger. I have often asked the same thing... Myself. Cause snowmobile engines have had rotary engines since the early 1970's I have several that have rotary engines in them. Granted the Arctic Cats were foreign engines along with the Mercurys but Evinrude and Johnson made rotary engines for quite a few years.I never had a bit of trouble with them. Unlike their opposed twins and their alternit firing counterparts... I was always having trouble with them constantly. I guess the concept of the rotary engine just never became popular in american cars. They put them into the american snowmobiles but not the american cars... Go figure!!!
